A self-taught Hybrid dev–artist located somewhere between the render pipeline and the HTML DOM.
I come from both the Game Dev and Web Dev worlds, and I love blending those skills. I build custom 3D assets, write shaders, and work comfortably in C++/C#, Python, and JavaScript, but I also have deep experience in modern web development, including 3D web development.
My Path so Far (in short)
I began my career as a frontend developer and UI/UX designer at a start-up in Italy, building single-page applications and mobile apps. But my love for coding, games, creativity and 3D soon drew me towards 3D and game development.
Even while working, I never stopped learning. I poured countless hours (and perhaps more money than I care to admit) into courses on programming, web dev, web design, art & design fundamentals, 3D art, 3D modelling, composition, and game engines across different platforms like Udemy and YouTube.
Local jobs didn’t quite satisfy my curiosity any longer, so I turned to the online world. I started freelancing and selling 3D assets, optimising game textures, and even crafting an entire game world in The Sandbox for Hinata Foundation.
Later, I took a gap year to fully dive into Japanese and Chinese culture, sharpening my language skills and even visiting both countries in person, making lasting connections.
Now, I’m back, crafting 3D worlds and real-time web experiences out of pixels and bytes! This site is where I share what I build.
Why I Use Frakon
Frakon / FrakonArt is the name I use for my creative projects. I’m Francesco Beati, a self-taught developer and artist based in Italy. I use this brand to keep my work cohesive and memorable.
My background
I'm a self-taught 3D artist and developer. With that said, I graduated in Computer Science and Telecommunications, studying and learning C/C++, Assembly and Java for 5 years.

Throughout my professional career, I’ve worked across both development and 3D art roles. I initially began as a programmer and web developer, building single-page applications, mobile apps, and desktop software—primarily using C# with ASP.NET Core backends.
In time, I transitioned into 3D art and game development, contributing to a range of projects, including games and interactive real-time experiences, using engines such as Unity and Unreal.
More recently, I’ve brought these two disciplines together to craft immersive, web-based 3D experiences using technologies like Three.js—merging the flexibility of the web with the richness of real-time graphics.
